UCL offers two Chemical Engineering programs - BEng and MEng - which share identical coursework for the initial three years. Students can postpone their final decision between these pathways until completing their third year, allowing for more informed choices based on hands-on experience. Prospective students need only apply once, as all applications receive equal consideration. Qualified BEng students may transition to the MEng program after their third year. This comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum delivers adaptable education, opening doors to diverse career paths including process and plant design, product manufacturing and marketing, R&D initiatives, as well as organizational leadership and resource management.
