Our Ukrainian and Yiddish studies program provides extensive opportunities to explore comparative and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical contexts, social sciences, philosophical thought, artistic expressions, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their language studies. Throughout the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in language instruction for their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. Additionally, learners may enroll in interdisciplinary courses from the School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS), examining connections between literature, film, language science, and historical developments.
