Our combined Ukrainian and Portuguese program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in humanities studies. Students can select from an extensive array of courses covering literature, linguistic heritage, historical studies, social sciences, philosophical thought, artistic traditions, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final academic years, participants will engage in language instruction for their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary offerings from SELCS and SSEES, examining literary works, cinematography, language science, and historical developments through multiple lenses.
The third academic year involves international study. All students attain equivalent language proficiency outcomes, whether beginning a new language or building upon existing knowledge.
