Our Spanish and Portuguese program provides extensive opportunities to explore comparative and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to their language studies. Throughout the first, second, and final years, participants will engage with both Spanish and Portuguese language courses alongside cultural studies that examine themes through literary works, films, historical contexts, and language analysis.
The third year involves international study, divided between two Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking nations. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior experience in the language.
