Our degree program in Serbian/Croatian and Ukrainian provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from a diverse array of modules covering literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, art, cinema, and other cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in language courses for their selected tongues alongside related cultural studies. Additionally, they may enroll in interdisciplinary modules from SELCS and SSEES, exploring literature, film, linguistics, and history through multiple lenses.
The third year is dedicated to international study. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning a new language or building upon prior knowledge.
