This Polish and Swedish program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, cross-cultural perspectives in humanities studies. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical analysis, social sciences, philosophical inquiry, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their language studies. During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in language instruction for their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary courses from SELCS and SSEES, examining literature, film, language science, and historical contexts through multiple lenses.
The third academic year involves international study divided between two nations where the target languages are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior language experience.
