Our Polish and Russian degree program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from a diverse array of modules covering literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, art, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). Each academic year consists of multiple individual modules, typically worth 15 or 30 credits, totaling 120 credits annually. Module assessments occur within the same academic year. The ratio of required to elective courses differs across programs and academic years. A 30-credit module equals 15 credits in the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
During your first, second, and final years, you'll enroll in language courses for your selected languages alongside related cultural studies. Additionally, you may choose interdisciplinary modules exploring literature, film studies, linguistics, and historical contexts.
