Our combined Hungarian and Italian program provides extensive opportunities to explore comparative and intercultural humanities studies. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic history, social sciences, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects tied to their language studies. During the first, second, and final years, participants will enroll in both language instruction and related cultural studies courses. The curriculum also includes interdisciplinary options from SELCS and SSEES, covering literary analysis, film studies, language science, and historical perspectives.
The third year involves international study divided between two nations where the target languages are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior experience.
