Our combined Italian and Philosophy program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of courses spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophical thought, artistic traditions, cinema, and various cultural aspects connected to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage with Italian language instruction alongside related studies in literature, cultural contexts, historical developments, and linguistic analysis, complemented by Philosophy coursework (consult the Philosophy department for specific information about UCL's Philosophy offerings).
