Our Italian and Latin program provides exceptional opportunities to explore interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of courses covering literary studies, language history, historical analysis, social sciences, philosophical inquiry, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to the languages being studied.
During your first, second, and final academic years, you'll enroll in Italian language courses along with complementary studies in literature, cultural studies, historical contexts, and linguistics, while also taking Latin modules (see the Latin department's website for specific course information).
Your third year will be spent abroad in an Italian-speaking region, either pursuing university studies or completing a professional internship. The program ensures equivalent language proficiency outcomes for all students, regardless of their initial language proficiency level.
