Our Hungarian and Yiddish studies program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical contexts, social sciences, philosophical thought, artistic expressions, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to the languages they'll master. During the first, second, and final academic years, participants will engage with language courses in their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary modules from the School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS) and the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), covering literary works, film studies, language science, and historical examinations.
