Our degree programs in Hungarian and Norwegian provide excellent opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s).
During the first, second, and final years, learners will enroll in language courses for their selected tongues alongside related cultural studies. They may also choose interdisciplinary modules from SELCS and SSEES, covering literature, film studies, linguistics, and historical approaches.
The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where the target languages are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning a new language or building upon prior knowledge.
