Our German and English program provides extensive opportunities to explore comparative and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to their chosen languages.
The program follows an equal 50/50 split between German and English studies. During the first, second, and final years, students undertake language courses in both German and English alongside cultural studies modules that examine various themes through literature, film, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis.
The third year involves international study, divided between two German and English-speaking nations. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior language experience.
