Our degree program in French and Portuguese provides extensive opportunities to explore comparative and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to their chosen languages. During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in both language instruction (French and Portuguese) and cultural studies, examining subjects that integrate literary works, films, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis.
The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where French and Portuguese are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior language experience.
