Our Dutch and Norwegian degree program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical analysis, social sciences, philosophical inquiry, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to the languages being studied. During the first, second, and final years, learners will engage with Dutch and Norwegian language courses alongside cultural studies that explore themes from literary works, films, historical contexts, and language structures.
The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where Dutch and Norwegian are spoken. Students attain equivalent language proficiency regardless of their initial skill level in either language.
Throughout this four-year journey, participants will enhance their mastery of Dutch and Norwegian while simultaneously refining crucial competencies in cultural understanding and analytical reasoning.
