Our combined Dutch and Art History program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of courses spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical analysis, sociological approaches, philosophical inquiry, artistic movements, cinematic studies, and various cultural aspects connected to Dutch language acquisition. During your first, second, and final academic years, you'll engage with Dutch language instruction alongside complementary studies in literature, cultural studies, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis, while simultaneously pursuing coursework in your secondary discipline of Art History (consult the Art History department's online resources for specific course information).

Additionally, students have the option to enroll in interdisciplinary courses offered by the School of European Languages, Culture & Society (SELCS), which integrate diverse academic specialties across the institution.
