Our combined Danish and Italian degree program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. You'll have access to an extensive selection of modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to the Danish and Italian languages you'll master.
Your third academic year will be spent overseas, divided between two nations where your target languages are spoken. Whether beginning a language from scratch or building on existing skills, you'll attain equivalent language proficiency. During your first, second, and final years, you'll undertake language courses in Danish and Italian alongside cultural studies exploring interdisciplinary themes through literature, film, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis.
The year abroad in your third year will be shared between Danish-speaking and Italian-speaking regions. Options include studying at an affiliated university or completing an authorized work placement. Language competency outcomes remain consistent regardless of whether you're starting as a complete beginner or with prior language experience.
