Serbian/Croatian is a Slavic language with around 20 million native speakers. Czech, another Slavic language, shares significant mutual intelligibility with Slovak and has about 11 million native speakers. This program provides comprehensive language training along with in-depth studies of Czech and Serbo-Croatian literature, history, and culture, equipping students for diverse career opportunities across Europe. The degree program develops advanced proficiency in speaking, writing, and comprehension of your selected languages. Required language courses are customized to your current skill level as you advance through the program. Additionally, mandatory courses on literature and cultural studies form an integral part of the curriculum.
