Poland, home to nearly 39 million people, plays a growing role in global economics and politics. Czech, a Slavic language closely related to Slovak, is spoken by about 11 million native speakers. This program provides exceptional language training and deep cultural understanding of Czech and Polish literature, history, and society, equipping you for diverse career opportunities across Europe. The degree develops advanced proficiency in speaking, writing, and comprehending your selected languages. Required language courses adapt to your current skill level as you advance, alongside essential literature and culture studies.

Your third year involves international study, divided between two countries where your target languages are spoken. This immersive experience not only enriches your understanding of these cultures but also enhances your independence and problem-solving abilities. Typically, students study at partner universities, though work placements may also be available.
During your third year abroad, you'll divide your time between two language-speaking nations. The program ensures equal language mastery whether you're beginning a new language or building on existing skills.
