Czech, a Slavic language with about 11 million native speakers, shares significant mutual intelligibility with Slovak. Meanwhile, Hungarian belongs to the Uralic language family and boasts around 13 million native speakers globally. This program provides comprehensive training in both languages while deepening your understanding of Czech and Hungarian literature, history, and culture - equipping you for diverse career opportunities across Europe. The curriculum develops advanced proficiency in speaking, writing, and comprehension, with language courses adapted to your current skill level. Mandatory literature and cultural studies complement your linguistic training.

During your third year, you'll immerse yourself in two countries where your target languages are spoken. This overseas experience not only enriches your cultural and linguistic understanding but also enhances your independence and problem-solving abilities. While most students opt for university study abroad, alternative arrangements like work placements may also be available.
