Our Bulgarian and Danish degree program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse modules covering literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, art, cinema, and other cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in language courses for their selected tongues alongside related cultural studies. The curriculum also includes interdisciplinary offerings from SELCS and SSEES, exploring literature, film, linguistics, and history through multiple lenses.
The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where the target languages are spoken. Learners attain equivalent language proficiency regardless of whether they begin as beginners or with prior experience.
