The School of Psychology promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary research culture where you'll become part of an energetic academic community featuring frequent work-in-progress seminars to maintain a dynamic research atmosphere. You'll be integrated into one of our four research hubs outlined below, each involved in cross-institutional partnerships, including collaborations with non-academic organizations like healthcare providers.
We welcome research proposals across various topics related to our hubs, while also potentially seeking candidates for specific research positions in certain fields. Explore each hub's details by clicking the links provided below.
Students can choose between full-time or part-time study options. The minimum duration to complete your MSc is one year for full-time students or two years for part-time students.
Our CREATE team leads UK creativity research initiatives and co-founded the UK Creativity Researchers group, which holds annual meetings. We also partner with external arts organizations (including music conservatories) and collaborate with colleagues from Applied Computing and The University of Buckingham Medical School.
