The LLB in Law with Business Management (2-year accelerated degree starting September) merges legal studies with business education to enhance your professional prospects in law. The Business Management element places legal concepts within a commercial context, strengthening expertise in areas like corporate and trade law. Alternatively, for those not pursuing legal certification, this program offers strong preparation for roles in finance, government, and leadership positions.
This degree also fulfills the initial requirements for legal practice in multiple commonwealth nations such as Canada, the Bahamas, and Bermuda.
Aspiring UK solicitors will find this program provides comprehensive groundwork for the SQE1 assessment, allowing graduates to opt for fast-track SQE1 prep courses. Our dynamic legal curriculum additionally supports preparation for the practical SQE2 exam - both being mandatory for solicitor qualification. Buckingham Law School alumni (LLB and LLM) receive a 20% reduction on BARBRI's premium SQE1 preparation course.

The standard entry requirements for Law are Alevel BBB-BBC IB-31-32 or equivalent alternative qualifications
Applications to Buckingham are individually considered by the Admissions Tutor and other factors may be taken in to account Applicants with BTEC qualifications are welcome to apply including if you have a mix of BTEC and A levels Equivalent Alevel grades are also accepted for example ABD equivalent to BBC
Where an applicant is taking the EPQ alongside Alevels the EPQ will be taken into consideration and result in a slightly lower Alevel grade offer
Applicants must also have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C Grade 4 or above or equivalent
If English is not your first language you will also need an IELTS Score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each component
TOEFL IBT - 79 minimum component scores of Listening 12 Reading 13 Speaking 18 Writing 21 Accepted for Undergraduate level courses or above.
