Buckingham's distinctive Law and Criminology degree (LLB) features an accelerated structure with four teaching terms annually, allowing you to earn your degree in just two years (eight terms, or nine if starting in September).
Alongside core legal education, you'll complete 120 criminology units, gaining comprehensive insight into crime's roots, motivations, and impacts. The program covers legal and criminological research techniques, citation standards, and various legal sources. Criminology blends multiple disciplines, examining crime through legal, social, psychological, and cultural lenses.

The standard entry requirements for Law are Alevel BBB-BBC IB-31-32 or equivalent alternative qualifications
Applications to Buckingham are individually considered by the Admissions Tutor and other factors may be taken in to account Applicants with BTEC qualifications are welcome to apply including if you have a mix of BTEC and A levels Equivalent A-level grades are also accepted for example ABD equivalent to BBC
Where an applicant is taking the EPQ alongside A-levels the EPQ will be taken into consideration and result in a slightly lower A-level grade offer
Applicants must also have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C Grade 4 or above or equivalent
If English is not your first language you will also need an IELTS Score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each component
TOEFL IBT - 79 minimum component scores of Listening 12 Reading 13 Speaking 18 Writing 21 Accepted for Undergraduate level courses or above.
