Modern historical research offers unprecedented excitement, with digital archives opening access to countless historical treasures.

Buckingham's distinguished history faculty has meticulously crafted this BA History program. The curriculum features both survey courses and specialized modules focusing primarily on 1800 to present, while also exploring earlier periods dating back to the 1500s. Key themes include imperial histories, increasing political divisions, global conflicts, the development of contemporary governance, and how ideologies influence historical change.
