This Master's program equips you with the skills to comprehend, develop, and deploy contemporary robotic technologies. Robotics plays a growing role across diverse industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and the exploration of extreme environments like space and deep oceans, as well as in autonomous systems that interact with humans both physically and socially.
Through this course, you'll explore numerous advanced engineering and computer science principles. It includes hands-on robotics research projects and access to the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, one of the UK's most extensive robotics innovation hubs and a premier research center in the field.
The degree is co-awarded and co-taught by the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England, both located in Bristol, leveraging the combined knowledge, facilities, and resources of these institutions. The Bristol Robotics Laboratory represents a joint research initiative between the two universities, aiming to revolutionize robotics through breakthroughs in autonomous systems capable of intelligent operation with limited human oversight.
Please be aware that classes for this program are held at both the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England campuses. Enrolled students will receive complimentary transportation passes for travel between the two universities.
