The Nanosafety Research Group is an interdisciplinary team dedicated to evaluating the possible impacts of nanomaterials on both human health and ecosystems, covering areas such as toxicology and microbial studies.

Nanotechnology focuses on creating and utilizing materials at the nanometer scale (1-100nm). For context, nanomaterials are similar in size to cellular components like DNA and proteins. Continuously evolving nanotechnology applications yield diverse advantages, producing items from consumer electronics and pharmaceuticals to food supplements and personal care products. These innovations span environmental cleanup solutions to fabrics resistant to stains and odors.
