This adaptable MA program offers five distinct specialization tracks:
Performance
Composition
Musicology
Medieval Music
Russian Music
Your course selection will depend on your chosen track, though all students complete core modules like Research Skills for Musicians, pathway-specific courses, and a wide range of elective options. The program culminates with a capstone project: musicology students (including Russian Music and Medieval Music tracks) complete a dissertation or critical edition, performers present a recital, while composers submit a portfolio of original works.
