This combined degree program lets you explore both theatre and film studies. You'll examine the history, context, and critical analysis of performing arts across stage and screen while gaining hands-on experience. The course offers chances to connect with industry experts and access our accredited Theatre Collection archive, along with partnerships with theaters, arts venues, and media organizations.
During your first year, you'll participate in lectures, seminars, and workshops covering performance analysis across diverse formats. You'll also develop foundational practical skills in both theatre and film production.
In later years, you can select modules focusing on important historical developments, current practices, and theoretical frameworks. For your final year, you'll complete independent projects that may include group or solo performances, film productions, academic research, professional placements, or industry research projects.
