The Theatre and English BA program allows you to explore both theatrical production and literary studies simultaneously, fostering your growth as an innovative artist. This dual focus prepares you to become a skilled communicator with critical thinking abilities, ready for diverse creative careers. The Theatre component provides specialized training in various disciplines including acting, applied theater, devised performances, digital productions, musical theater, physical theater, and scriptwriting. You'll train in Brunel's state-of-the-art Antonin Artaud Performance Centre (AA), featuring a main stage, two studio theaters, practice rooms, and audio recording facilities. The AA Centre offers a professional drama school environment with its comprehensive performance spaces and technical resources.
Career Opportunities
Graduates may pursue roles such as: theater professionals, creative industry managers and administrators
community-focused careers in applied drama, educational roles in schools or theater education departments
advanced studies in English, Theater, or Arts Management.
