Our adaptable degree program allows students to focus on one, two, or three contemporary European languages. Those studying one or two languages may additionally explore Arabic, Catalan, Czech, Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin as supplementary options.
The initial year introduces students to the cultural and historical contexts of their chosen language(s). Later years offer diverse course selections spanning literature, linguistics, cinema and visual arts, history, political science, and gender studies.
Students spend their third year overseas, with the opportunity to divide this time between multiple countries based on their language combinations.
