The Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering is designed to meet current industry demands, with an emphasis on core sectors including oil, gas, and petrochemical manufacturing. You'll acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to thrive across various industrial fields, studying in an interdisciplinary setting grounded in cutting-edge research. The curriculum provides comprehensive training in essential and advanced technical concepts such as: fluid dynamics, thermal systems, transfer processes for mass and heat, chemical reaction engineering, process management, and safety/environmental protocols. Hands-on training with analytical instruments and industry-relevant applications is also included. The MEng program mirrors the BEng curriculum for the initial three years, with a specialized fourth year culminating in a Master's qualification. Bradford's Chemical Engineering department maintains strong industry partnerships, with faculty engaged in collaborative research projects involving major pharmaceutical, energy, petrochemical, and advanced materials corporations.
