The Master of Arts in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies offers an in-depth exploration of the connections between conflict, development, security, and governance in developing, fragile, transitional, and conflict-affected areas. You'll acquire the knowledge and practical abilities necessary to advance or establish a career in this significant field for global, national, and local policy and practice. Graduates will be prepared to work in diverse sectors such as: international development, conflict prevention and peacebuilding, post-conflict reconstruction, humanitarian assistance, and natural resource governance. The program allows for specialization in particular regions (Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, Asia, or Latin America and the Caribbean), with optional study visits available. You'll receive advanced training in widely-used policy and practice analysis tools and frameworks, boosting your professional capabilities.
