Students develop comprehensive skills in archaeological excavation, crime scene surveying, and documentation techniques.
The curriculum covers human anatomy and anthropological examination of remains, including determining age, sex, ancestry, and interpreting trauma evidence.
Specialized courses demonstrate how scientific methods create biological profiles of unidentified remains, study tissue decomposition (and preservation), analyze trauma, and perform forensic identification of living individuals.
Participants also learn scientific fundamentals and proper data presentation for legal proceedings.
