As a graduate student in POLSIS, you'll gain access to diverse academic events while joining the International Relations and Security Theory research community. This interdisciplinary group brings together faculty and doctoral candidates for regular discussions on current research, scholarly publications, and event planning - including hosting guest lecturers.
The curriculum explores both traditional domains like warfare, security studies, and diplomatic relations alongside emerging areas such as global power shifts, equity studies, and feminist perspectives. Key objectives include introducing International Relations theory to newcomers while applying conceptual frameworks to real-world challenges. Through progressive learning, we'll cultivate comprehensive expertise in this multifaceted discipline. The program also equips students with skills for autonomous research and critical analysis of global affairs.
