This program offers specialized training and the chance to conduct substantial research in public health, global health, or population science. A highlight is the option to dedicate over four months annually to pursuing research in your chosen field. Medical or dentistry students can pause their studies for a year to enroll in our intercalated Medical Science degrees, focusing on a specific discipline while developing skills to analyze research literature and gaining hands-on experience with original research projects.
By the program's end, students will gain expertise in:
Key research methodologies and data analysis approaches in health and medicine
Applying research techniques to address population health (epidemiology) and tackle public health challenges locally, nationally, and globally
Practical aspects of executing research across diverse environments
Legal and ethical considerations governing medical research
