Our MSci Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery program is designed for students pursuing careers in the pharmaceutical industry, fostering multidisciplinary abilities and problem-solving techniques while providing thorough knowledge of medicinal chemistry and drug development processes. The University is committing £80 million to construct a state-of-the-art Molecular Sciences facility, which will serve as the new headquarters for the Chemistry School. This represents the most significant ongoing construction project on campus, featuring cutting-edge research labs and dedicated student workspaces. The building will stand as a hub for scientific advancement and innovation, bridging research with education to encourage teamwork and collaboration.

A minimum of 5 at Standard Level English and 4 at Standard Level Maths is required for those students who do not have a minimum of grade 4/C in English at GCSE and of grade 6/B in Maths at GCSE.
