Our Master of Science program in Poverty, Inequality, and Development equips you to examine development through the critical lenses of poverty and inequality - central themes in modern development policy discussions.

This program's core module takes you through development theories from their post-1945 origins to contemporary applications, enabling you to critically analyze how these concepts have evolved and shaped current development perspectives.

Two specialized modules provide this program's unique focus, investigating how sociological factors like class, religion, ethnicity, and gender both reveal disparities in poverty/inequality and illuminate the systemic processes that perpetuate these issues in development contexts.
