The Marketing PhD/MPhil/MSc (research) program combines a brief instructional period with an extended research component. The coursework modules help expand and enhance your understanding of research methodologies while you conduct independent investigations and cultivate valuable professional competencies.
Graduates will master diverse data analysis techniques, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods, while comprehending the theoretical foundations of various social science research approaches. Students are encouraged to fully engage with the Department of Marketing and Business School community by attending departmental seminars and university-wide events, fostering exposure to interdisciplinary perspectives. Active involvement in PhD workshops and conferences hosted by the Marketing Department, Business School, Graduate School, and external institutions is also expected.
Upon completion, doctoral candidates will possess the expertise to identify and address complex business and marketing challenges using sophisticated research methodologies. They'll be equipped to translate research findings into practical policy recommendations for various stakeholders and effectively evaluate scholarly work. Their original contributions will advance the field's boundaries through innovative research initiatives.
