Our MSc in Applied Meteorology and Climatology has received accreditation from the Royal Meteorological Society, offering thorough preparation for becoming a Chartered Meteorologist (CMet). Weather patterns and climate systems form fundamental components of our planet's ecosystem. Tracking meteorological data, combined with studying and simulating environmental processes, plays a crucial role in comprehending humanity's relationship with nature.

This degree program delivers in-depth education about atmospheric phenomena, including their analysis, computer modeling, and forecasting. It also covers the gathering, organization, distribution, and practical use of weather-related information across different industries. Additionally, the curriculum explores how these atmospheric factors can present either advantages or challenges for both ecological and societal operations. We prepare graduates to pursue professional opportunities in meteorological and climatological fields.
