This BA program in Modern Languages and History of Art combines linguistic studies with cultural exploration, equipping you to thrive as a globally aware professional.

By examining one or two modern languages (French, Italian, Russian, and/or Spanish) alongside art history, you'll gain mutually reinforcing insights across both fields. Your language proficiency grows alongside cultural literacy, encompassing literature, history, politics, and social contexts. Beginners can study two languages simultaneously (with French or Spanish as one option) without prior advanced knowledge. International experiences, including a Year Abroad and European art history excursions, will enhance your expertise as both a language specialist and art scholar.
