Starting from day one, you'll delve into core electrical and electronic engineering concepts while exploring innovative engineering methodologies. You'll also gain exposure to real-world engineering applications through industry-standard technologies.

The initial two years of our four Electrical and Electronic Engineering programs share identical coursework, ensuring a solid foundation in the discipline. This structure also provides flexibility to transition between BEng and MEng degrees and decide on undertaking a professional placement year until the conclusion of your second year.

Through project-based learning, you'll refine essential professional capabilities like collaborative teamwork, project coordination, and self-direction. These hands-on experiences encourage creative problem-solving by applying your engineering knowledge to practical challenges, such as developing virtual reality tracking systems, medical sensing devices, or advanced LED technologies.

You are more likely to be successful if you demonstrate a strong interest in electrical engineering and computer systems through relevant reading, extracurricular or co-curricular activities, or work experience.
