Examine worldwide social, political, and cultural issues while becoming proficient in a foreign language. This program allows you to pair language learning at either introductory (ab initio) or advanced levels with international politics studies. This dual focus will equip you with robust skills in both disciplines, readying you for a global career. Options include French, German, or Spanish (for students with A-level experience) or beginner languages (requiring no prior study) such as French, German, Italian, Mandarin, Russian, or Spanish.
During your first year, you'll enhance both written and verbal language abilities while gaining foundational knowledge of political concepts and analytical frameworks for international politics. You'll also investigate the history and culture associated with your selected language.
