The Textiles department at London College of Fashion offers three specialized degree pathways (Print, Knit, and Embroidery), each with a distinct focus while promoting diverse textile design approaches. Our Textiles team is celebrated for nurturing unique creativity in emerging designers, providing the skills needed to become innovative textile designers for the fashion industry. You'll have the opportunity to develop your creative abilities and engage with contemporary themes in a dynamic fashion setting that inspires artistic exploration.
The BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Embroidery program emphasizes innovative techniques in creating modern fashion textiles. We maintain that technical skills and technology enhance the design process and spark creativity. Students in this embroidery (mixed-media) specialization experiment with decorative techniques, surface designs, and textural elements for fashion materials.

One or a combination of the following accepted full level 3 qualifications
112 UCAS tariff points from two or more A Levels preferred subjects include Art Design English and Maths
Distinction Merit Merit at BTEC Extended Diploma preferred subjects Art Design
Distinction at Foundation Diploma in Art and Design
Merit at UAL Extended Diploma
Access Diploma or 112 tariff points from the Access to HE Diploma
112 new UCAS tariff points from a combination of the above qualifications or an equivalent full Level 3 qualification
or equivalent EU or nonEU qualifications such as International Baccalaureate Diploma at 25 points minimum
and three GCSE passes at grade AC or grade 94
Entry to this course will also be determined by assessment of your portfolio
IELTS level 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
