The BA Fashion Design program features five specialized tracks: Menswear, Womenswear, Print, Knitwear, and Communication. Each concentration delivers a distinctive blend of design training, historical exploration, and theoretical learning guided by industry-experienced tutors. The Knitwear specialization accommodates diverse creative methods within this ever-evolving craft. The UK maintains global recognition for knitwear design excellence, stemming from our historic involvement in wool commerce and textile machinery innovation. Recently, this sector has expanded beyond classic craftsmanship to include contemporary couture, jersey garment construction, stretch fabrics, and intimate apparel. This track will immerse you in these techniques and the application of global textile materials within modern knitwear design.
