The BA Ceramic Design program offers a specialized curriculum centered on clay as both an artistic and practical medium. This distinctive course emphasizes hands-on creation and tactile interaction with materials, encouraging students to explore clay's potential across various design scenarios. Our approach treats design as a strategic framework for creative investigation, fostering curiosity about clay's uses in artistic and innovative settings to generate diverse conceptual solutions and practical implementations. These span from custom-crafted pieces to large-scale sculptures, performance art, installations, and industrial design projects. Participants can shape their artistic identity through multiple perspectives, whether as designers, artisans, craftspeople, or fine artists.
Available as a three-year full-time program or four years with an added Diploma in Professional Studies

The standard entry requirements for this course are as follows
One or a combination of the following accepted full level 3 qualifications
Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art Design Level 3 or 4 and 1 A Level at Grade C or above
2 A Levels at grade C or above preferred subjects include Art Art and Design or Design and Technology
Merit Pass Pass MPP at BTEC Extended Diploma preferred subjects include Art Art and Design or Design and Technology
Pass at UAL Extended Diploma
Access to Higher Education Diploma preferred subjects include Art Art and Design or Design and Technology
Equivalent EUInternational qualifications such as International Baccalaureate Diploma 24 points
And three GCSE passes at grade 4 or above grade A C
IELTS level 6.0 or above, with at least 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
TOEFL IBT - valid for 2 years - Score Required - 80 - Listening - 17, Reading - 18, Writing - 17, Speaking - 20.
