At Aberdeen, the Sociology and Theology & Religion program offers a compelling examination of how societal forces shape individuals, paired with comprehensive analysis of religion's significant impact. You'll study and compare global faith traditions, with particular emphasis on Christianity's historical and modern expressions.
In Sociology, you'll investigate contemporary societal issues and their historical evolution. Beyond religious influences, you'll examine family structures, work-life dynamics, crime's societal effects, and governmental roles.
You'll develop expertise in social research methodologies like observational studies, interviews, comprehensive surveys, and media analysis to better understand social phenomena.
