We'll prepare you to engage with this global language, used by 350 million native speakers across 19 Latin American nations, the Iberian Peninsula, and the growing Spanish-speaking population in the US.
Your studies will encompass historical, anthropological, literary, and cultural materials from Spain and Latin America, including texts, films, and visual arts. A key component of your four-year program includes spending half of your third year abroad, either as a teaching assistant or exchange student in a Spanish-speaking country to enhance your language proficiency.
