Pharmacology focuses on discovering and analyzing medications used for treatment or as research tools to enhance our knowledge of bodily functions in both healthy and diseased states. This field primarily examines drug properties, mechanisms of action, and the development of new pharmaceuticals. It also encompasses studying drug toxicity, administration methods, and how substances are absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and eliminated by the body.
This degree program provides comprehensive knowledge about drugs at molecular, cellular, tissue, and systemic levels.
