Immunology examines the body's defense mechanisms against diverse harmful pathogens. This program allows you to investigate our natural protective systems, including the immune system's involvement in autoimmune disorders like multiple sclerosis, increasing cases of asthma and allergies, and cancer progression. You'll explore how immune responses can be harnessed for innovative treatments such as vaccines, and their significance in transplantation success and blood transfusions.
